Farhaan Basha makes a welcome return to the 2023 CompCare Polo Cup Championship this weekend as the one-manufacturer race category starts its 27th season in South African motorsport. The championship gets underway at the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, where it forms part of several support race categories to the Joburg Kyalami 9-Hour event on 23-25 February.

In further exciting news, Basha will enjoy the backing of QVWI Motorsport, who will be making its CompCare Polo Cup debut. QVWI is an exciting new digital lifestyle consumer electronics brand set to take the market and race circuit by storm! So keep a lookout for the brand at a retailer near you. QVWI is no stranger to motorsport, having supported Basha during his 2022 GT Super Cup season. The Johannesburg driver also competed in several endurance races while giving driving instruction in 2022 and is set to make a massive impact on this year’s championship.

“We have high expectations for the season. We are confident that we can be competitive from the onset and can fight at the front of a usually closely contested championship. There are many young guns in the field this season that has come through the karting ranks, but I am hoping to lean on my 2021 championship experience. We’ve also put in loads of work during the off-season and are sure it will pay off,” said Basha.
