Emma-Rose Dowling Selected for Iron Dames Young Talents Program

Emma-Rose Dowling, a young talent with unique prowess, has been chosen as one of the exclusive 20 drivers globally for the prestigious Iron Dames Young Talents Program. This program, designed to identify and nurture young female talents in karting globally, is a stepping stone for aspiring female racers to carve a niche in motorsport, fostering their growth and development from an early age.

The training camp is scheduled to take place from 28 to 30 July at the Franciacorta Karting Circuit in Italy. The first day will involve participant registration and administrative tasks. On the second and third days, drivers will have multiple track sessions focusing on driver preparation and training.

"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Iron Dames Young Talents Program. It is a privilege to be selected and a chance to represent South Africa on the global karting stage and show what we girls are made of. I'm looking forward to learning more, improving my skills, and pursuing a career in motorsports," stated Emma.

Emma is a member of the Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa Junior Academy, competing in the highly competitive Junior MAX class for drivers aged 12-14. This weekend, Emma and her fellow Academy drivers will be in action at Formula-K Raceway, Benoni, where the third and penultimate round of the Rotax South Africa National Kart Championship will take place.
