KARTING | Bezuidenhout Looking to Continue Strong Vereeniging Form

Having only just completed a regional round of racing in the OKN class, Mikel Bezuidenhout heads to Vereeniging this weekend for Senior MAX action. Round 6 of the Northern Regions Rotax Kart Championships makes its third season appearance at the Vereeniging Kart Circuit.

The championship points standings are currently provisional due to pending round four results and the outcome of technical reviews. Mikel is currently third in the standings. Vereeniging has been a thriving location for Mikel, where he achieved his first and only victory and two podium finishes.

"Statistically, Vereeniging is my strongest circuit this season," said Mikel. "We have had our best results there, and it's a circuit that I enjoy competing at. So, hopefully, my good run of form there will continue this weekend, and we can make up some ground for the championship leader.

While many will be out on the circuit on Friday for an unofficial practice, Saturday's action will commence with a warm-up, followed by a qualifying session before three heats decide the day's winner.
