This weekend, Northern Regions Bambino Championship leader Alonzo de Oliveira will compete at the Vereeniging Kart Circuit (VKC) for the third time this season, marking the championship's sixth round.

Alonzo has been the pick of the bunch in only his second season of karting, accumulating ten wins and five further podiums to take an 18-point lead into the weekend. Five of those ten wins came at VKC, with a runner-up finish making up the six heats hosted there.

"I enjoy racing at VKC and this weekend will be no different," said Alonzo. "My focus is on winning every heat and hopefully the championship."

While many will be out on the circuit on Friday for an unofficial practice, Saturday's action will commence with a warm-up, followed by a qualifying session before three heats decide the day's winner.
