KARTING | Podium Hat Trick for Xtreme Racing’s Newest Driver De Wet

Another strong performance in Vereeniging this weekend led Luhan de Wet to secure third place overall after achieving a hat trick of podium finishes in the regional Micro MAX competition.

After joining a new team, there were concerns about how Luhan would perform this weekend. However, he showed promising results, finishing as the runner-up in two of the three heats and third in the other. As a Micro MAX rookie racing for the Xtreme Racing stable, he now has four podium finishes and one victory, keeping him in contention for the 2024 regional title.

"The pace was really good this weekend with any one of four drivers able to win. Despite changing teams, it wasn't too disruptive, with my focus only on racing. But I am very pleased with my performance and hope we can continue this into the season.

Round 4 of the championship continues on 22 June at Zwartkops Kart Raceway.
