KARTING | Mini ROK’s Antunes Heads to Vereeniging for Fourth Regional Round

With the national ROK Cup season now something of the past, the Northern Regions ROK Kart Championships makes a return to the Vereeniging Kart Circuit for its fourth round. Having raced at the circuit twice already this season, Diego Antunes will be looking to capitalise on the data and experience gained.

While the opening round saw Diego claim his first and only podium of the season, he has generally competed well at the circuit. Currently sixth in the championship standings, the former Northern Regions Bambino (Rotax) Champion will be looking to move up the points table, having a three-point cushion over seventh while being five points adrift of fifth.

"We started our season strongly at VKC. Since then, things haven't entirely gone to plan. Hopefully, this weekend, we can get our campaign back on track. Thanks to Uncle Derek from TrevPar World for the support as well as Uncle Neil from NBR Racing."

Friday will see an unofficial practice, with Saturday commencing with a Warm-Up Session followed by Qualifying and three race heats.
